The orange wall at roots will not be a problem this month, if I remember to bring my screen. A problem that Roots shares with Lucky Lab NW is that the windows are south-west facing, and the room will be lit up in the summer evening. My screen is only 5 foot, so people will need to be a bit closer to read it compared to the 8 foot screen at Jax (and a 10 foot at LLNW, I believe). Perhaps the higher light density on the 5 foot screen will make it more readable in the early evening light. The staff at LLNW implied that the place really fills up in the summer time, so it is probably not a good long-term option for Advanced Topics. I would like to keep using LLNW for the general meeting afters, if most of you agree.
