Linux desktop machine
Athlon XP 2100+ with 1011.1 MiB running Ubuntu Hardy
Smooth and steady in Firefox 3.0.10

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Acer Aspire 1640Z laptop
1.7 GHz Pentium with 0.99 GB of RAM running XP Home, Version 2002, SP 3

After re-booting,
  Smooth and steady in:
    Firefox 3.0.10
    Google Chrome 1.0.154.65
    IE 7.0.5730.11

Before re-booting the swf took many seconds to load, and then was jerky
and slow in both IE and Firefox (didn't try Google Chrome before
reboot.) After booting, there was no delay, which may mean that each
browser was running a cached copy, or Comcast was faster delivering the
file this time.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thinkpad 6003 laptop
Pentium II
160 MB RAM
Win 98 SE

Firefox 2.0.0.20
Slow and jerky to load page. Slower and jerkier after page was loaded!

IE 6.0.2800.1106
The swf did not display until page was fully loaded. Then it ran slow
and jerky.
