When I need a low power, fanless, embedded PC, I go with an Ebox: http://www.wdlsystems.com/ebox/ebox.shtml Stay far away from the 2300-SX. I was bitten by its lack of built-in kernel drivers for a majority of it's hardware. I mainly use the dual-NIC 3850's or 4800's as firewalls, sometimes with wifi. The standard 2300 works almost-fine as a thin client. It barley has enough power to render video for an Edubuntu lab. I want to test the support of the 3300 and 4300. More CPU power in the same package that VESA mounts on the back of an LCD. If Ubuntu checks out on those, I might switch to them for firewalls as well. -- I'm just a packet pusher.
