The G4 iBook has Panther (10.3.9), not Tiger (10.4) as I said earlier.
 I tried these Firefox 2 and Safari (1.3.2).
 - Firefox 2 works as well as any that did work. All keys respond as
documented,
   no response from mouse
 - Safari 1.3.2 did not respond to any keyboard commands at all for
WYDIWYS control;
   all documented keys seem to be owned by Safari for page history
traversal.  This may
   be configurable, but I did not chase that.
