Just before I went to look into this site, I noticed an icon that hadn't been in the upper right hand corner of the Gnome desktop. It's for manual network configuration. I don't think it was there before last night. And, just to the right of that one is the speaker icon which, when double clicked, brings up the Gnome mixer window. Sure enough, there was the line input, and it was muted. Something I did in the last couple of days must have caused those two icons to appear, and I just didn't notice it until last night. Thanks for the idea, even though I didn't need to use it. -- Regards, Dick Steffens www.dicksteffens.com _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
