Has anyone had occasion to convert a dvf file to something else--wav,
mp3, ogg, something Audacity can use?

My wife transcribes interviews, some of which are done on Sony digital
recorders. Her transcription software has a plug-in to deal with that
format, and it works fine. However, sometimes she gets a file with
background noise that makes it hard to understand some of the words
being spoken. I could run it through gramofile or Audacity, but they
don't deal with dvf.

TIA.
