I will try switching to the nVidia driver and see what happens. I started by installing the nVidia drivers with "nvidia-xconfig," then rebooting. When it booted I had both bluetooth mice turned on, and the USB mouse turned off. Neither bluetooth mouse worked, so I turned on the USB mouse in order to have at least something working, then opened a terminal. From the terminal "hcitool scan" found the Logitech bluetooth mouse, but not the Razer. And "hcitool cc <Logitech address>" got the Logitech bluetooth mouse working. Yay! Subsequently "hidd --connect <Razer address>" got the Razer working. There were substantial changes to bluetooth stuff in Intrepid. One change is that hcitool became the new utility for bluetooth functionality, replacing hidd. But hidd is still in the repositories and I had reinstalled it when I was trying to get my bluetooth headphones working again, which the upgrade to Intrepid broke. I'm glad I still have hidd, although I have no idea why it could connect to the Razer and hcitool could not. And before switching to the nVidia driver, neither hidd nor hcitool could connect to either bluetooth mouse. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
