Here's the actual text of the tool-tip that pops up when I hover over the orange triangle with the ! in the middle:
The update information is outdated. This may be caused by network problems. Please update manually by clicking on this icon and then selecting 'Check'. I unchecked: [ ] http://kheb.homelinux.org/debian unstable main non-free Reload worked without an error, and the triangle icon went away. I suspect that this isn't really a solution, since now I won't know about updates to non-free stuff. Googling pointed me to a thread on a forum where someone said that it may be that the source is off-line temporarily. The original poster said that it had been three days. So, maybe there is a problem someone's working on. I'll put something on my desktop to remind me to try it again later in the week. -- Regards, Dick Steffens www.dicksteffens.com _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
