meh @ howto's. It would just need to work. Alternatively, you could demonstrate the idiocracy in the Windows versions and feature split. For example: Bitlocker: Only in Ultimate and Enterprise. NOT in business or Home Editions. Not even in the biz version? Really? DVD Maker: While you'll find Movie Maker in all versions of Vista/7, DVD Maker is only in Home Premium and Ultimate. Continuity? Backup: All have the backup feature. However Vista Home editions can't do full disk backups. The selection is simply omitted. (not sure about 7 here) Volume Shadow Copies/Previous Versions: A really cool feature built in file versioning feature that is built into all versions of Vista, except Home editions. However the framework is there, so you have to download a free 3rd party utility that gives you the ability to quickly restore a previous version of a file or a deleted file. I could go on. It's just like they're drunk and throwing darts at features to determine what goes where. How are people suppose to know about all this stuff? They don't! -- m0gely _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
