Great! Why don't we just turn the Internet into a push-only service. Wouldn't it be great if it just fed us the information others wanted us to see without us having any choice in the matter? Sorry for the snide remarks, they're not really directed at you, just at the general mentality that we have to give up something as consumers in order to cut down on spam. SMTP needs to be redesigned. It is within our power to do this. If we don't, Big Content will just turn the Internet into what they understand best: a fancy TV. regards, tim _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
