Just FYI to anyone who has upgraded to Ubuntu Karmic and had new
problems with suspend to RAM - yesterday's updates from Ubuntu include
some changes which are reportedly fixing this problem for a number of
users.

A friend of mine with a Dell Inspiron 1501 had this problem and as of
yesterday's update it is resolved. I personally run a Dell Latitude D620
and have been lucky enough to have suspend working from day one.
