Yes, I found out that my dansguardian exceptions were disabling the filter. I rectified that. I added the incoming interface to my redirect rule, though I don't know why that is needed. I did read something about doing this a different way and a patch for the 2.6 kernels, but I haven't found out anything more. I think the new approach involves using the mangle table somehow.
