Keith's formal announcement reminded me that I needed to update the distros that I have on my USB drive. I have every Ubuntu imaginable, but needed the Karmic versions. I also discovered that the latest OpenSuse that I have is 11.0, so I'm getting 11.1 and 11.2. I'm also adding Fedora 11 and 12. And I need to get the latest Mint and Slackwares, just in case someone wants them. I'll add the Debian netinst CDs as well. It is my policy to make sure I have all the variants for each distro release - 32- and 64-bit; Gnome, KDE and other desktops that the distro offers, CD and DVD versions, and cutdown versions like Xubuntu. If anyone needs a distro and has poor bandwidth at home, come on down and I'll burn it for you. It takes only five minutes to burn a CD on my computer. And if you want a distro that is not on my regular list, just holler and I'll download it for you. I get up to 3MB/s at home, so it doesn't take me long. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
