amen - i have a > 15-yr-old LJ 5MP Postscript that keeps cranking out 
the pages. The toner cartridges are darned cheap on a per-page basis 
compared to the inkjet cartridges. Works great with the 
Foomatic/Postscript & CUPS+Gutenprint drivers in Ubuntu 9.10. PDFs tend 
to fail to print with the "recommended" driver.

the first site wasn't much help when i first searched it, i'll give the
