Can you post some of your .pinerc settings: smtp-server inbox-path incoming-folders folder-collections news-collections My hunch is that your configuration wants direct file access to your inbox and/or folders (as opposed to, say, IMAP access to them) and pine is trying to launch a remote session to allow it. Also -- are you still running Pine or have you switched to Alpine? The latter is the currently supported version -- and it has UTF-8 support so you can read your spam in the original Russian! :-) -- Paul Heinlein <> [email protected] <> http://www.madboa.com/ _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
