I could come out and give a presentation on implementing PID loops in
software.  The only problems with this are:

1.  The only thing specifically "Linux" about it is the laptop
    it's on.

2.  It has been about a year since I gave the talk so the slide
    ordering would sometimes be as much a surprise to me as to you,

3.  And I'm not nearly as good looking.

But if you can overcome that, I can come babble at you for an hour or 90
minutes about implementing control loops in software.
