John is correct. You have to install the adobe repository and add flash via
yum or yumex. Here are the instructions:

Flash works fine for me with Firefox on Fedora 11, x86_64. I think I
installed it with yum or yumex directly.

In my experience you almost always have to restart Firefox when you
install any plugins or extensions or add-ons.
