While I hope it's obvious that I have similar partisan sympathies, I'll just note that people deploy servers to provide application services, not operating systems. If someone's stuck with an application that demands Windows -- and lots of third-party apps do; it's not just Exchange and SQL Server -- then Windows becomes the server OS of choice.
