Use the 1.2.1 version. It works and it's rock solid. Germane to versions,
if it works then the version doesn't matter. More than a dozen years ago I
bought a network license for BRU as my backup software (to tape; I've not
tried it to disk but I suppose it would work with any medium). Eventually I
stopped paying for upgrades as my situation was well handled with the all
the versions I used. When I moved from BRU and the Tandberg tapes to dirvish
and the external USB drive BRU was still at version 17.0 from 2007.

That must be fixed as it's been working flawlessly here for months.

So instead of sneakernet to swap drives you'll use rubber boot net. If
there are no directions on the web site's HOWTO a question to the list will
be answered by Keith or someone else who will guide you.

Yup. Each machine would have it's own 'bank.' And each can have its own
backup scheme and backup lifetimes.
