Has anyone gotten reasonable gaming performance connecting a Playstation II to their PC via a Hauppauge PVR 150 card and using MythTV?
The Hauppauge site says that connecting a gaming console to the PVR 150 is the one thing you aren't supposed to do. Oops! I finally got the card to work in Windows 2000, geez that was hard. Thing is, there is a 1-2 second lag, so Dark Cloud is totally unplayable. I don't have room for a television, and a television is going to be somewhat expensive, especially if I try to get a flat panel television. Is there an adapter that can convert the Playstation II's RCA jacks to a VGA plug? I'm thinking of not going through a computer at all possibly using such an adapter instead to get the Playstation II to output on my LCD monitor. I guess I bought the wrong TV tuner card. At least it was cheap. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
