I am setting up a Ubuntu machine on which multiple people share VirtualBox guest machines. When guest machines are closed, various files, particularly in the Machines tree, get stored with the wrong permissions (0600, rather than 0660 that is needed). The group ownership is set up so that newly created files are owned correctly. Setting umask to 002 doesn't seem to help.
Anybody with experience in this kind of situation? Potential solutions? -- Russell Senior ``I have nine fingers; you have ten.'' [email protected] _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
