I installed Slackware-13.1 on my new laptop yesterday, but the screen is totally blank and unresponsive after the system boots. I vaguely recall this happening years ago, but have no recollection of the fix.
Does this have something to do with the frame buffer and the default 1024x768x256 resolution/colors? Where do I interrupt the boot process so I can fix the situation?
