I must work this week, but my time is mine to schedule as I see fit, so I can take some time off for OSCON. I figured I'd take an afternoon and evening off - the afternoon for the exhibit hall, and the evening for whatever free festivities there are. I'm just a desktop user of Linux, not a programmer, not a sysadmin, not a developer - so most of the technical stuff at OSCON is of little interest to me. But if I can do something for Linux Fund without breaking my personal piggy bank, I'd be happy to do so. I'm also interested in ways to entice users of other OSs to switch to Linux. I guess I have to decide between going to the exhibit hall Wednesday and the free reception afterward, or going to the exhibit hall on Thursday and the Linux Fund party afterward. The latter sounds more interesting, but who is invited to the Linux Fund party? Details? _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
