I suspect it depends on the kind of box you have from Comcast. The output on mine is either rf on channel 3/4 or split video and audio on RCA jacks. For some reason the customer service folks seem to think that the "service is digital" claim means that digital comes out of those connections. Since they are designed to connect to analog TVs that's not really possible. So, if you have those kind of connections on your box, no problem. If all you have is HDMI, then maybe not.
