Has anyone here used the gocr tool on scanned pdf files successfully? If
so, please share your experiences with me.
I converted the .pdf to .ps, but gocr didn't like that because it could
not find ghostscript (/usr/bin/gs); it was looking in the wrong place:
pstopnm: Error looking for Ghostscript program. stat("/usr/local/bin/java/gs")
The pstopnm man page does not tell me how to point it to the proper
directory for gs. A soft link to that directory (which is itself a soft
link) also fails.
Then I tried 'convert' and the gocr output was useless.
