Folks, sorta related to the AVI to DVD thread, I've been wondering how to back up our Wii DVDs. I've gotten one of the DVD-ROMs that are supposed to read Wii DVDs (GDR-8164b), but haven't yet gotten the DVD recognized. At least dd doesn't work. I see reports of k3b working, but that's not happening either.
But it may be related to the external housing, may just have to get a SATA to IDE adapter to get it internal. If anyone here has done it with Linux, help would be appreciated.
