For some reason GoogleEarth-5 doesn't want to run here. Running with
strace isolates the problem:

writev(2, [{"googleearth-bin"..., 15}, {": "..., 2}, {"symbol lookup
error"..., 19}, {": "..., 2}, {"libmoduleframework.so"..., 21}, {": "...,
2}, {"undefined symbol: _ZN9QListData7d"..., 41}, {""..., 0}, {""..., 0},
{"\n"..., 1}], 10googleearth-bin: symbol lookup error:
libmoduleframework.so: undefined symbol: _ZN9QListData7detach3Ev
) = 103
exit_group(127) = ?

This happens with both the vanilla Google Earth or the repackaged
Slackware package.

My Google search turns up a similar bug related to the library and symbol
but on Fedora Core 8 running X.org with the 'openchrome' driver and a
different problem: black screen when loaded.

Where do you suggest I go for help? Does Google take such reports?

Rich
