I know this is for Ubuntu, but the generalities are probably relevant:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Troubleshooting/NvidiaDriverSwitching#Problem:%20%20Swapping%20drive%20between%20system%20with%20-nvidia%20and%20non-nvidia%20causes%20breakage

NVIDIA overwrites the system's libGL. nvidia-tls "provides thread
local storage support for the NVIDIA OpenGL libraries (libGL,
libnvidia-glcore, and libglx)" [1] I'd guess you still have the
NVIDIA-installed libGL. Applications that link to libGL throw up
because nvidia-tls is gone, but the NVIDIA libGL remains, maybe? Or at
least the apps are still linked to the old libGL.

Can you try:
yum reinstall mesa-libGL
ldconfig
