i use the old standby xwd. i think it must ship with x11 or something because it's always Just Been There on whatever distro i've used. and xwd has the benefit that it does its work mostly on the command line (i can't imagine opening gimp just to take a screenshot--it takes seconds to launch, has more than one window, and i have to click in a lot of places..). imagemagick will convert its output into jpg's or whatever else you want. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
