Since you want to use this as a wireless printer you should not be plugging
it into a usb port. Instead it should connect to the router  via wireless,
or connect it directly to the router via ethernet.
Getting the printer to talk to the router is Operating System independent so
it should be covered in your printer manual.

After you get that part configured then you can configure the laptop to
print to the printer.

Here are instructions for a slightly earlier model, the 2170W that _might_
also work for the 2270DW
