Out of curiosity, the EeePC 900 I got my nephew originally came with a version of Linux that was custom, can't think of the name right now, and I replaced that with Ubuntu 10.04. Couple of problems though, first problem, the laptop doesn't shut down properly and there seems to be no fix. You have to unplug it to shut it down. The minute it is plugged in, it boots. Second problem, the SSD is only about 16gb with a 4gb portion as well adding up to about 20gb. The Ubuntu 10.04 install barely fits. Has anyone installed a larger SSD into one of these? A 64 gig SSD should be large enough to accomodate the Ubuntu installation. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
