I had a business in Portland for years to service bigger U.P.S. & Emergency
Lighting Units.
90% is the replacement of the batteries.    I would be willing to look at
any other service if that doesn't fix it.

On the few smaller units that I did work on, if it ran a load for a few
minutes, it was 'good to go'.   The chance that the frequency or voltage is
off and it still runs at all when on battery is really very very low.
