It was me that mentioned it. Our paypal account was frozen on January 3rd. We were alerted to this by paypal in an email with vague requests for more information. The email pointed to a Resolution Center page, and that page pointed back at the email. Attempts to be responsive via the web interface did not provide any obvious indication that they'd been acknowledged. I sent an email instead with explanatory information and pointing at documentation of our non-profit status. We were promised a response within 72 hours (which would be today sometime). I haven't seen it yet. I may try calling later today. >From googling a phrase from the email, it appears that the issue that prompted this was our use of a Donate button. It seems they want the use of the Donate button to be exclusively for tax-deductible donations. However, we are a tax-exempt 501c3 public charity, so we *should* be okay with their arbitrary policy. -- Russell Senior, President [email protected] _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
