I believe several members of NILUG here in North Idaho use the HomeRuns
but my take is it is best for OTA broadcasts. They use it in
conjunction with Myth and LinuxMCE boxes.
No one has mentioned using it with cable. Most are more than happy
with getting the 19+ some odd broadcast channels in the area. I haven't
had cable in 20+ years but I remember needing a "cable" box to decode
the signal(s).
