Nope:
[root@salmo /home/rshepard/GIS/spatial-data/Nevada/dem]# mount -t iso9660 -o
loop ./nv_dem.iso /mnt/dvd/

missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
[rshepard@salmo ~]$ dmesg | tail
ISOFS: Unable to identify CD-ROM format.
