I'm trying to set up an Asterisk server and I want to be able to use a standard analog telephone on the far end of an IPv4 network.
Do I want a Linksys SPA2102 NA or a Linksys PAP2 NA? I'm thinking of using one of these devices typically used to connect to a VoIP provider in conjunction with my Asterisk server instead. For starters, all I want to do is enable local calling to different buildings/rooms on the IP network. I plan on tying in 2 local phone lines in via the Asterisk server with a 2 FXO/2 FXS card, but this may not be a right away thing. Do I use one Linksys PAP2 NA per room or is there a better way to go about this? _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
