Carl Symons of LinuxFest Northwest asked on the Scribus e-list if there was anyone in the area who could give a talk on Scribus and DTP. I jumped up, waved my arms around, and yelled "here I am, the blond boy over in the corner!" OK, I really just sent him an e-mail.
It looks possible but there are logistics problems. I can't be gone from Portland for both days of a weekend. I must go up and come back the same day, although it can be either day. And driving to Bellingham and back would suck. Not to mention that I'm not sure my vehicle would make it that far without a fatal check engine light coming on. I know others from this list go up there. And there is also Amtrak, which is a very pleasant way to travel. LinuxFest Northwest will be April 30 and May 1, so it's too soon to finalize plans. But I thought it might be good to add my name to a list of potential ridees. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
