The link I created in my DocumentRoot's index.php looked like this: <a href="testing/index.php/">Test Site</a> Why I included index.php/ after testing/, I can't explain. However, after correcting it to: <a href="testing/">Test Site</a> everything works as expected. Just out of practice, I guess.
