I'm trying right now to get an old Intel D845PEBT2 to use the HDTV as a monitor. I certainly need to find a micro computer to replace it and these recommendations are nice, but until I figure out how to get the picture to fit on the television, I'm not ready to buy. I'm trying the standard monitor port on the NVIDIA card, maybe that's a mistake. It has to be possible to get a picture that fits the screen and doesn't go over. The HDMI input port is meant for a Digital DVD player. I'm having the same trouble in Windows that I'm having with Linux, so I may need a very low level fix. If the solution is to replace the Nvidia GEForce 6200 though, I might as well pick a new board with built in video. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
