The easiest and most robust way is to add a DNS zone for dyn.com to your DNS
server. This will cause it to be unable to serve any DNS records for that
domain.

If you want to do this at a firewall level, the easiest way is to add routes
for the IP block belonging to dyn.com, pointing them to someplace useless,
like the loopback interface, or NULL if that is supported by your route
command.
