Your comments caused me to do some deeper Googling. I found a number of places talking about a bug causing this error message. I decided to choose "I" to ignore the error and keep going. I got the same message for each partition on the system. I "I"gnored them all and the machine finished booting. I'm writing this message on it, now. I guess I won't know for sure until I try booting it again -- which will happen in a few minutes when I move the box off the desk and put it back in it's normal home. Thanks for the prompt. -- Regards, Dick Steffens _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
