I've used Aracnet since '99. USWest required an outside ISP for DSL connections at the time I connected. Then QWest came along acquiring USWest. I did not use the web hosting they provided, but had to pay for it anyway. Now CenturyLink is offering DSL. I stayed with Aracnet. Sometime between then and now Spiritone acquired Aracnet. The internet evolves. Last year I tried Clearwire. That did not work our when the leaves came out on the trees, I lost signal. I went back to Qwest and got a better modem and connection. But I stayed with Aracnet (Spiritone). Nice to keep the same email address for all this time. Spiritone has an excellent SPAM filter. -- Ken Stephens, SV Aventura, Portland, OR _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
