I know that I tried to do this when I originally set it up, but there was some really important, now forgotten, reason for not setting it up as an access point. My dim recollection is that there was a problem with the WRT54G. I recall calling Limksys/Cisco and their tech support people had me update the firmware, but we couldn't get it to work as an access point. This entire thread would not have been necessary if I had placed a sticker on the WRT54G at the time of setting it up with its IP address and some clues as to how it was set up.
