There may be more problems than I thought: [root@Devil8 jjj]# package-cleanup --problems Package rhpl-0.221-1.x86_64 requires libpython2.6.so.1.0()(64bit) Package rhpl-0.221-1.x86_64 requires python(abi) = ('0', '2.6', None Package ooobasis3.3-core01-3.3.0-9567.x86_64 requires openoffice.org-ure Package openoffice.org3-3.3.0-9567.x86_64 requires openoffice.org-ure Package openoffice.org3-dict-en-3.3.0-9567.x86_64 requires openoffice.org-ure Package openoffice.org3-dict-fr-3.3.0-9567.x86_64 requires openoffice.org-ure Package openoffice.org3-dict-es-3.3.0-9567.x86_64 requires openoffice.org-ure Package qtparted-0.4.5-25.fc14.x86_64 requires libparted.so.0()(64bit) Package scribus-1.4.0-0.4.rc6.fc14.x86_64 requires libpodofo.so.0.8.1()(64bit) Package xfce4-globalmenu-plugin-0.7.8-1.fc13.x86_64 requires libxfce4panel.so.1()(64bit) Package twitux-0.69-4.fc12.x86_64 requires libnotify.so.1()(64bit) [root@Devil8 jjj]# yum install libpython2.6 python openoffic.org-ure libparted libpdofo libxfce4panel libnotify Setting up Install Process No package libpython2.6 available. Package libnotify-0.7.4-1.fc16.x86_64 already installed and latest version Nothing to do The OpenOffice.org problems are because I have real OOo from OOo, not the version in the Fedora repos. And the upgrade from 14 to 16 supposedly installed LibreOffice (I think). I remember seeing a package libreoffice-ure being installed. I think this is as good a time as any to switch to LibreOffice, so that's how I'll resolve the OOo problem. Also, Scribus won't launch, nor will any part of OOo. I tried reinstalling Scribus but got dependency errors relating to python (Scribus uses python for scripting). I think I'll work on Scribus and OOo/LibreOffice first. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
