(Depending on which release of OOo you have it may be called various things.) Rename the original ~/.libreoffice. 2) Uninstall OOo. 3) Install Libreoffice. 4) Fire up LibreOffice and it will have all your settings, templates, extensions and other stuff just as it was in OOo.
