(made me look) The ever useful Wikipedia has a page comparing file systems: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_file_systems including a chart of OS support: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_file_systems#Supporting_operating_systems Which shows Mac OS does not support, but Mac OSX does with "NTFS-3G" which happens to link to a page describing what it is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NTFS-3G Which works with the FUSE interface in OSX. And NTFS-3G is a 2006 fork of the Linux-NTFS project. And the Mac support was announced in late 2009. -- Michael Rasmussen, Portland Oregon Other Adventures: http://www.jamhome.us/ or http://westy.saunter.us/ Fortune Cookie Fortune du jour: I refuse the iPod because it is an audio bubble that shuts you off from the world, which is where good ideas come from. ~ Garrison Keillor _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
