I can't imagine that Wine would do what you need because the .exe needs to access hardware that is on the very bottom of the pile. >For those of you working in a multi-boot environment and knowledgeable of >Windows, is there a way to extract a .hdr file from these .exe files, >or do I need to beg Dell for the proper format? I don't know the answer to your question, but I wonder if the .exe will run under DOS. If so, it is pretty easy to make a bootable DOS USB stick using FreeDOS. I have done so and I know nothing. I even still have the USB stick somewhere. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
