There are a number of perl experts here so I hope that I can get the help I need. Frontier has changed my IP address three times since last Wednesday; about every 2 days. Therefore, I need to build, configure, and use ddclient to check the IP address and update the DNS servers on namecheap.com when there's a chenge.
The SlackBuild.org ddclient requires the perl module, perl-IO-Socket-SSL. I cannot download and install it using 'perl -MCPAN -e shell' nor the links to the source or homepage on the SBo web page. I am hoping one of you experts might help me find a copy of version 1.24 (or later) so I can move ahead with ddclient.
