The ThinkPad third Michael> button appears to be above, rather than below the trackpad, Michael> leading me to question its usefulness. Obviously, tastes vary. I use the trackpad on my thinkpads (a T42 and a T60p). And I use the middle mouse button, which I like. I primarily use the buttons below the trackpad with my thumb for left/right. I never use the trackpoint thingie, but I appreciate it being there just the same, because it looks cool, and might save my ass if the trackpad were to ever flake out. I don't have a middle mouse button on my netbook trackpads, and i miss it. I *REALLY* like the keyboard illumination feature on the Thinkpads (it hurt me when keith broke one once while I was watching). I have never pressed the "ThinkVantage" button, so I don't even know what it does or is supposed to do, but it sounds AWESOME, whatever it is. -- Russell Senior, President [email protected] _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
