Obviously, tastes vary.  

I use the trackpad on my thinkpads (a T42 and a T60p).  And I use the
middle mouse button, which I like.  I primarily use the buttons below
the trackpad with my thumb for left/right.  I never use the trackpoint
thingie, but I appreciate it being there just the same, because it
looks cool, and might save my ass if the trackpad were to ever flake
out.

I don't have a middle mouse button on my netbook trackpads, and i miss it.

I *REALLY* like the keyboard illumination feature on the Thinkpads (it
hurt me when keith broke one once while I was watching).

I have never pressed the "ThinkVantage" button, so I don't even know
what it does or is supposed to do, but it sounds AWESOME, whatever it
is.
