I keep the major distros on my computer because I have pretty good bandwidth at home and plenty of storage space. Mostly I do so for use at the Clinic, but I am always happy to provide them to people who have slow connections.
I just went through my Distros folder and updated to the latest versions. I have the ISOs in 32- and 64-bit (when available), and I keep the various spins for those distros that come in different flavors. Here is what I maintain: ArchLinux Damn Small Linux Fedora (last two releases) Knoppix Mint OpenSuse Porteus (was Slax) Puppy Slackware Ubuntu (10.04 through 11.10) Rescue CDs (half a dozen different ones) I will have my computer with me at the meeting this Thursday. Bring a blank CD/DVD or a flash drive and take home whatever you want. They're free! _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
